GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) - Grand Forks police are investigating an early morning shooting.

Authorities say officers responded to a report of gunshots about 2 a.m. Tuesday and found a person who appeared to have suffered a gunshot wound. The wound is not believed to be life-threatening.

Police identified the victim as 30-year-old David Gomez, of Grand Forks.

Witnesses described three males leaving the scene in a car. Police said the initial investigation indicated that Gomez and suspects knew one another.
