CEDARHURST, N.Y. (AP) - Police say they’re investigating after two swastikas were discovered stray painted in a parking garage on Long Island.
The swastikas were found in a Maple Avenue garage in Cedarhurst on Monday.
Police say they were painted sometime between Friday afternoon and Monday morning.
It’s the second such incident in Cedarhurst this month.
Newsday (https://nwsdy.li/25tV5sI ) reports that a 17-year-old boy was arrested and charged for drawing swastikas with a chalk on the sidewalk outside two homes on Oxford Road.
Police have not determined if the two incidents are related.
