MARION COUNTY, Ore. (AP) - Authorities say they arrested a registered sex offender for new sex abuse crimes.

The Marion County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release they arrested 49-year-old Richard Dean Terry of St. Paul on Wednesday.

Terry has been booked into jail on $250,000 bail for multiple sex abuse charges.

Detectives say they believe there may be additional victims.

Terry was convicted in 1997 for attempted sexual penetration.
