WILLISTON, N.D. (AP) - A New England woman arrested on drug and trespassing charges is accused of smuggling methamphetamine into the Williams County Jail.

The Williston Herald reports (https://bit.ly/1Te6CZ3 ) that authorities allege 26-year-old Toni Day smuggled the drugs in a body cavity. She was reported by other inmates.

Day could face up to 31 years in prison if convicted on all of the charges she faces. Court documents do not list an attorney for her. She could enter pleas at an April 21 court hearing.
