COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) - Jo Jo Tompkins scored 12 points leading Bishop England to its third straight Class 2A state championship, a 53-37 victory over Keenan.
Saturday’s victory was also the fourth state title for Bishop England in the last five years.
Hannah Corbett and Rhetta Moore each had 9 points for Bishop England. Corbett scored on three 3-pointers to pace the Bishops to a 27-20 halftime lead.
Keenan drew within five points late in the third quarter but then Bishop England went on a 10-2 run to take control.
Bishop England has now won 15 playoff games in a row with their last loss coming against Keenan in the 2013 Class 2A state championship game.
Breia Jackson led Keenan with 16 points.
