MESA, Ariz. (AP) - A Mesa family of nine escaped from an early morning fire that caused heavy damage to their home.
Smoke alarms woke the family early Wednesday morning, and everybody was able to get out uninjured. At least one child got out through a basement window.
Responding firefighters found the home full of smoke.
Cause of the fire is under investigation.
