FAYETTEVILLE., N.C. (AP) - Police in Fayetteville are looking for a hit and run driver who struck and killed a pedestrian.

Police said in a statement that officers were called to a road shortly after 2 a.m. Wednesday and found a pedestrian who had been struck.

The pedestrian died from his injuries. His name has not been released while relatives are located.



Police are looking for the driver of a 1997 green Ford Ranger pickup truck left near the scene.
