JEAN, Nev. (AP) - Authorities say two people are dead after a plane crashed in southern Nevada on Saturday.
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department released a statement saying dispatch received a report of a single-engine Extra EA300 that went down at 5 p.m. near Jean.
A Federal Aviation Administration spokesman said the cause of the crash is not yet known.
Emergency crews found the plane’s two occupants dead.
The FAA and National Transportation Safety Board are investigating.
