PHOENIX (AP) - Police have identified two men killed in an all-terrain vehicle crash in north Phoenix.
Police spokesman James Holmes says Hunter Zachery Votaw and Christopher Robert George Erickson, both 21, suffered fatal injuries Saturday morning.
According to authorities, a passer-by found both men and an ATV near 52nd Street and Jomax Road around 6:20 a.m. and called 911.
Police say both appeared to have suffered injuries from the collision.
Firefighters pronounced them dead at the scene.
Holmes says investigators believe Votaw, who was operating the ATV, failed to perceive a turn or was traveling too fast to complete a turn.
Evidence indicates the ATV went off the shoulder and ejected both men.
The investigation is still ongoing.
