SPOTSYLVANIA, Va. (AP) - Authorities say nine people were injured in a series of crashes involving several cars along Interstate 95 in Spotsylvania County.

State Police said the incident started with a two-car crash that slowed traffic around noon Sunday. Several other crashes followed, involving a total of 20 vehicles.

Police said nine people were taken to the hospital with what appeared to be non-life-threatening injuries.

Police say they’re investigating the cause of the crash.

All lanes of I-95 have been re-opened.
