BESSEMER, Ala. (AP) - Police say a man has been killed and two others were injured while attending a cookout in central Alabama.

Bessemer Detective Sgt. Cortice Miles tells Al.com (https://bit.ly/23h3ewV ) that one man was found dead with multiple gunshot wounds Saturday night. Miles say a man and woman were also shot and taken to UAB Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The motive in the shooting has not been released.



Miles say more than 100 people were on the street at the time of the incident.

Sister-in-law, LaQuita Hall, of victim who was shot to death identified her brother-in-law as 38-year-old Robert King Williams.
