WEST ALLIS, Wis. (AP) - Police are searching for a suspect after a man reportedly was killed in a shooting in the Milwaukee suburb of West Allis.
Officers were called just before 7 a.m. Sunday on reports of a burglary and shots fired at an apartment building. Police found a wounded man in the building and moved him to safety, but he died from his injuries. Police did not say how the man was injured.
The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel (https://bit.ly/24g1hXo ) reports police evacuated the apartment building, next to West Allis Memorial Hospital, without finding the suspect. Police think the suspect is familiar with the apartment building and fled the scene.
