STONY BROOK, N.Y. (AP) - Police at Stony Brook University say they’re searching for a man who groped a woman in a campus bathroom.

Students and staff at the Long Island-based university were notified of the incident that happened around 3:40 p.m. Saturday in the Social and Behavioral Sciences building.

Newsday reports (https://nwsdy.li/1W0e6k5 ) that a graduate student told police a man approached her in a third-floor bathroom and began touching her. He ran from the room when she pushed him away.

The university police department has posted a photo of the suspect on its website and is asking for anyone with information to contact them.
