CLEVELAND (AP) - Cleveland police say a group of 13- and 14-year-old boys taking a shortcut past a vacant house spotted a woman’s body inside.

Police say they don’t know how the woman died. They say it appears she was in her early 20s.

The boys told cleveland.com they were cutting through a yard on Cleveland’s east side Saturday when one of them looked in a window and saw the body.

A Cleveland city councilman says there are about two dozen vacant homes on that street alone.
