OGDEN, Utah (AP) - The Latest on windy weather causing power outages and damage in northern Utah (all times local):

Gov. Gary Herbert is visiting a northern Utah community enduring power outages and property damage caused by powerful winds.
Governor’s spokesman Jon Cox says Herbert arrived in Centerville on Sunday afternoon to meet with impacted residents and law enforcement.
Strong gusts have been blowing through Davis and Weber counties since Saturday evening.
Officials with Rocky Mountain Power say about 38,000 homes lost electricity overnight.
The utility says more than 21,500 customers are still without power as of Sunday afternoon.
Authorities say the wind has left a trail of fallen tree limbs and downed powerline.

Strong winds have led to thousands in northern Utah losing power.
Rocky Mountain Power says more than 26,000 customers in Layton, Ogden and surrounding areas are still without electricity as of Sunday morning.
The Standard-Examiner in Ogden reports (https://bit.ly/1rKACkt) that winds as high as 87 mph swept areas along the Wasatch Front overnight.
Rocky Mountain Power spokesman David Eskelsen says approximately 38,000 homes initially experienced an outage during the night.
Eskelsen says crews are also dealing with fallen tree limbs and downed power lines.
Meanwhile, winds are also causing dangerous road conditions.
The Utah Highway Patrol says the weather has already caused one major crash.
Officials say a pickup truck hit a semi parked roadside on I-15.
The driver of the pickup was taken to the hospital in serious condition.
