HOT SPRINGS, Ark. (AP) - A man faces multiple charges in the death of a camper in Hot Springs.
The Sentinel Record (https://bit.ly/1YmmWpS ) reports that 29-year-old James Lingo is charged with first-degree murder, theft of property, aggravated assault, criminal mischief and tampering with evidence.
Authorities responded to a traffic accident around 12:15 a.m. Tuesday.
A man told authorities he was camping with a woman in the area when two unknown individuals in a pickup truck got into an argument with him before driving away. He said the same truck appeared a short time later and rammed into another vehicle, which rolled over a tent occupied by an unidentified woman, who was killed.
The victim’s name was not being released pending notification of family.
Lingo is being held in the Garland County jail without bond.
