HELENA, Mont. (AP) - A 31-year-old Wolf Creek man has died of an apparent accidental gunshot wound.
Lewis and Clark County Undersheriff Dave Rau says the man was in a vehicle with three others on the way to a job site northeast of Craig on Wednesday when the .45-caliber gun discharged, hitting the victim in the shoulder. The 911 call came in at about 9:45 a.m.
The man’s name hasn’t been released.
Rau tells the Independent Record (https://bit.ly/1T5Roo3 ) that the shooting is still under investigation.
