BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) - A 25-year-old Baton Rouge man is in custody, facing five counts of murder.

Baton Rouge Police, in a news release, said officers arrested Jeremy Robertson early Thursday on three counts of first-degree murder and two counts each of second-degree murder and felon in possession of a firearm.

Detectives gathered information that has allegedly linked Robertson to the shooting deaths of Kevin Ford, Antoine Harris and Fredrik Corner, all on Aug. 2, 2015; the July 14, 2015 death of Kerry Green at a Baton Rouge apartment complex; the Nov. 17, 2010 shooting death of George Dyson, whose body was found in Gilbert’s Cemetery and the June 3, 2009, shooting death of Louis Deggs. Detectives are hoping to reintroduce the Deggs case to a grand jury with the newly obtained evidence.
