WYANDANCH, N.Y. (AP) - Police say a man was killed after he steered his bicycle into the path of an all-terrain vehicle on Long Island.

Suffolk County police say Inoe Dejesus Padilla of Wyandanch collided with the ATV at 4:15 p.m. Wednesday on a street in Wyandanch.

Padilla and the operator of the ATV were taken to a hospital where the 24-year-old Padilla was pronounced dead.

The other man was admitted for non-life threatening injuries.

The investigation is continuing.
