Downtown Laramie bank robbed Wednesday

LARAMIE, Wyo. (AP) - Laramie police are looking for a woman who robbed a downtown bank.

Police say the Bank of the West was robbed shortly after 4:40 p.m. Wednesday. The unidentified suspect remains at large.

The Laramie Boomerang reports (https://bit.ly/24RLzC9 ) that the suspect was described as a woman about 5 feet 5 inches tall, heavy set, with dark hair. She was wearing sunglasses, a black jacket with a white shirt underneath.

Police says she handed the teller a note, demanding money.

It wasn’t immediately clear how or where the suspect fled after the robbery.

A search of the area by police turned up no suspects.
