PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Philadelphia police have been searching for a drunken driving and drug suspect who fled from the Penn-Presbyterian Medical Center emergency room after his arrest.

Police say that man, 24-year-old Khalil Robinson had been arrested just before 10 p.m. Wednesday.

Police say two officers went to relieve the prisoner detail at the emergency room and were checking to see whether Robinson was handcuffed when he jumped up from the bed and ran out of the room.

Police say they chased Robinson around the nurse’s station and out of the building, but lost track of him.

Investigators were still searching for Robinson on Thursday.
