RICHMOND, Va. (AP) - A 2-year-old girl has died after a two-vehicle crash in Richmond.

Media outlets report Richmond police say Queen Maultsby died Tuesday.

The crash happened just before 5 p.m. when a vehicle driven by the child’s mother, 22-year-old Britney Maultsby, struck another vehicle at an intersection.

Four people in Britney Maultsby’s vehicle and the unidentified driver of the other vehicle were taken to the hospital. The driver of the other vehicle remains hospitalized.

Police say charges are pending.

The investigation continues.
