COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) - Police say a man shot to death in a motel room was killed after arguing with a prostitute about how much to pay her.
Investigators said 41-year-old Natila Tucker was arrested Thursday and charged with murder.
Authorities say an employee at the Coronet Motel in Columbia found 25-year-old Tyron Jackson dead from a gunshot wound to the head in his room Sunday morning.
Police said in a release that Jackson and Tucker got into a fight over how much he owed her for sex and she shot him and took his car.
Tucker is charged with murder. It wasn’t known if she had a lawyer.
