WILKES-BARRE, Pa. (AP) - Police are trying to find two women who used a cash register at a Macy’s store in northeastern Pennsylvania to put more than $17,000 worth of credit onto a debit card.

Police say store security workers at the Wyoming Valley Mall tried to stop the women, but they ran away and sped off in a Chrysler 300.

Police say they know the car’s license plate number and were continuing to search for the women on Thursday.

The incident happened Monday.
