HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (AP) - Forecasters say that severe storms will be possible over northern Alabama, though the risk of tornadoes will be low.

The National Weather Service said the main threats from Thursday’s storms will be damaging winds and hail.

Forecasters say the Florence, Huntsville and Cullman areas are in the part of the Alabama that will see the highest risk for severe weather.
