SANTA ANA, Calif. (AP) - Authorities say one person has died after a three vehicle-crash in Orange left one car fully engulfed in flames.

The Orange County Register reports (https://bit.ly/1WujQSP ) that the victim of the Thursday night crash has not been identified. The drivers of the other two vehicles were taken to hospitals, one with minor injuries.

Police Sgt. Phil McMullin says the incident began when a vehicle headed west was rear-ended by another vehicle. The rear-ended vehicle then crashed into another car stopped at a red light and caught fire.

Fire officials had arrived to find the vehicle still up in flames. The person inside died at the scene.
