Bidding in an online auction for the pistol former neighborhood watch volunteer George Zimmerman used to kill Trayvon Martin appeared to have been hijacked by fake accounts posting astronomically high bids. At one point early Friday, the bidding surpassed $65 million with the leading bidder using the screen name “Racist McShootFace.” The site later showed that account had been deleted.

The tribe made the move on Friday, shortly after Politico printed details of the deposition of casino executive Jim Allen. Politico reported that Allen said the Seminoles made $2.4 billion last year, and nearly all of it came from the gambling business.

2 Men Sentenced To Prison After Boy Injured By Pesticide

Grenale Williams and Canarie Deon Curry were sentenced Thursday after pleading guilty to charges in U.S. District Court. Federal pesticide investigators found that in August 2015 both men used a restricted pesticide called sulfuryl fluoride to fight termites at the home of 9-year-old Peyton McCaughey.

EX-AIR FORCE OFFICER CONVICTED OF ROBBING REAL ESTATE AGENTS

Paul Pinkston was convicted Friday of two counts of armed robbery and one count of kidnapping. Both robberies happened last June 3 at St. Petersburg homes where he had met agents while pretending to be a buyer.
