DAVISON TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) - Authorities say a 21-year-old man organized a break-in at a Flint-area gun shop where dozens of handguns were taken.

The Flint Journal reports (https://bit.ly/1TBWW5Q ) a criminal complaint unsealed this week in U.S. District Court in Flint says the Flint man used a vehicle April 22 to smash into Williams Gun Sight in Genesee County’s Davison Township. He’s awaiting a May 20 hearing.

He’s facing allegations of conspiracy to possess stolen firearms and theft of firearms from a dealer.

Officers searched around the store and found one suspect nearby. An agent from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives says the suspect agreed to cooperate in the investigation and pointed them to the 21-year-old.

Authorities say they found the 21-year-old at a home along with several of the stolen guns.
