BUFFALO, Iowa (AP) - Police in the eastern Iowa city of Buffalo say emergency responders have pulled the body of a man out of the Mississippi River.

Buffalo police, the Scott County sheriff’s office and Buffalo firefighters responded to a call Friday morning of a body in the river.

They retrieved the body of a man described as white, 5 feet 11 inches and about 170 pounds.

Police say the identity of the man and the cause of death are unknown.

Buffalo borders the southwest corner of Davenport.
