CORINTH, Miss. (AP) - Authorities in northeastern Mississippi have discovered the body of a man who had been shot multiple times.
Alcorn County Sheriff Ben Caldwell tells news outlets that deputies found the body on the side of a road outside Corinth after receiving a call from a motorist early Thursday.
Caldwell says deputies are treating the investigation as a homicide.
Authorities have not released the identity or age of the man.
