PARIS (AP) - France will warm up for its World Cup qualifying campaign with a friendly match against Italy next September.

The French soccer federation says the game will take place on Sept. 1 in a city to be determined.

It will be France’s first match following the European Championship from June 10-July 10, and the 38th game between the neighbors.



France will then play it first World Cup qualifier at Belarus on Sept. 6.
