HARTLAND, Vt. (AP) - Vermont State Police say a Hartland woman is facing a charge of embezzling from a church where she worked as treasurer.
Police say 46-year-old Tamara Ross is accused of embezzling $8,000 from the First Universalist Society Church.
Ross was arrested on Thursday and is scheduled to be arraigned on June 28.
It was not immediately known if she is being represented by an attorney. There is no phone listing in her name.
