LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) - This weekend’s Sunday with a Scientist program will examine the effects of cold weather on plants.
The program title is, “Why Plants Don’t Wear Sweaters.” The program is scheduled to run from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. Sunday at the University of Nebraska State Museum in Morrill Hall.
Attendees will make their own seed art, and there will be a competition testing visitors’ science skills and an opportunity to identify differences and similarities in seeds and mature plants.
