TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - Police in Tucson are looking for suspects after a man was fatally shot at an apartment complex and a woman was wounded.

Officers were called to the midtown complex about 6:30 p.m. Wednesday and found the two victims with obvious gunshot wounds.

The man and woman were transported to a Tucson hospital.

Police say 30-year-old Johnathan Slowley died shortly after arrival while the woman was treated and her injuries are no longer considered life-threatening.

Her name hasn’t been released yet.

Police have determined that Slowley was inside his apartment with the woman and several other men when an altercation occurred.

Slowley was shot several times and the woman was shot once.

Police say it wasn’t a random act of violence and the suspects knew Slowley.
