WAYLAND TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) - One person has been killed and two others injured after the vehicle they were in was struck by a drunken driver in western Michigan.

The Allegan County sheriff’s office says the vehicle rolled over in a dense tree line early Saturday morning in Wayland Township, south of Grand Rapids.

The vehicle that hit them rolled over into a ditch. That driver was being held in the county jail pending charges.

The sheriff’s office says police had been pursuing that vehicle which they had seen speeding.
