BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - North Dakota’s congressional delegation says three community health centers in the state have been awarded nearly $4.6 million in federal funding.

The delegation says the health centers are in Turtle Lake, Northwood and Fargo.

Each received about an equal share of the money from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

Community health centers are aimed at ensuring underserved and low-income residents have access to more health services, such as preventative care and health education.
