BEATRICE, Neb. (AP) - Officials in Gage County have announced that buildings and property of the now-closed Store Kraft have been bought.
The Beatrice Daily Sun reports (https://bit.ly/1rM0ITE ) that Beatrice Industrial LLC made the purchase. NGage economic development group announced the sale on Friday.
A written statement says Beatrice Industrial plans to proactively market the space for business uses.
Beatrice Industrial is an affiliate of U.S. Property of Lincoln, which specializes in breathing new life into under-utilized property.
Officials says the 400,000 square foot warehouse facility may be subdivided to meet the needs of various tenants ,including manufacturers, distributors, food processors, a craft brewery or restaurant and mixed-use businesses.
Store Kraft announced it was going out of business in October 2014, cutting around 100 jobs.
