STROUDSBURG, Pa. (AP) - Closing arguments are scheduled Monday in the trial of a man accused of having ambushed and killed a man who authorities allege had helped him commit a robbery earlier.

The Pocono Record (https://bit.ly/1Xa87I0 ) reports that Monroe County prosecutors allege that a woman lured a man be beaten and robbed by William McRae and 20-year-old Brandon Fraser in July 2013.

Prosecutors allege that now 25-year-old McRae then either got mad at Fraser for talking about the crime or feared being set up himself. Authorities allege that he used the same woman to lure Fraser to a supposed meeting in August 2013, then emerged from the woods and fired into the rear of his car, killing him.

The defense accuses witnesses of giving inconsistent accounts in hopes of leniency from prosecutors.
