MINOT, N.D. (AP) - Verendrye Electric Cooperative is getting a new leader.
The Minot Daily News reports (https://bit.ly/1Tbwdmi ) that member services director Randy Hauck takes over next week as the cooperative’s fifth general manager in Verendrye’s 77-year history.
Hauck replaces Bruce Carlson, who is retiring after serving in the position for 22 years. Carlson’s official last day will be Monday.
Hauck, a native of Richardton, says the culture and philosophy that have provided a solid foundation for the co-op over the years won’t be changing.
Carlson says he’s passing on the torch, and it’s exciting to see folks that have the same enthusiasm and dedication to service excellence move up in the cooperative.
Verendrye has promoted Tom Rafferty from community relations manager to member services and communications director.
