CONWAY, Ark. (AP) - Arkansas State Police say a Little Rock woman was killed in a five-vehicle crash on Interstate 40 at Conway.
A police report says 43-year-old Andrea Epperson died in the crash about 6:15 p.m. Friday.
The report says Epperson was eastbound when a westbound pickup truck crossed the median and collided head-on with her sport utility vehicle.
Epperson’s SUV then went airborne and was struck by two other eastbound vehicles while in the air and the pickup collided with a fifth vehicle in the eastbound lanes of traffic.
The drivers of three of the vehicles were hospitalized in undisclosed condition. Those in the fifth vehicle were not reported as injured.
The report says the weather was clear and the road was dry at the time of the crash.
