HURRICANE, Utah (AP) - Hurricane police have released the name of a motorcyclist struck and killed by a driver allegedly under the influence of alcohol.

Sgt. Brandon Buell identified 64-year-old Charles Vick on Saturday as the crash victim.

Buell says the collision happened Friday at the intersection of 870 West 325 North.

Fifty-one-year-old Robert Lounsbury was arrested later in the day for automobile homicide, failure to yield a left turn and violating an alcohol-restricted driver’s license.

According to Buell, Lounsbury allegedly failed to yield to the motorcycle while turning left.

Vick, of Hurricane, was transported to a hospital where he died from his injuries.

It was not immediately known if Lounsbury had an attorney.
