ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) - Authorities say at least nine people were hospitalized after a fiery crash when a sports utility vehicle in the wrong lane slammed head-on into a bus carrying 16 people near Disney’s Animal Kingdom in Florida.

The Florida Highway Patrol says in a news release it happened about 6 p.m. when a southbound SUV hit the northbound bus.

Troopers said eight people on the bus were taken to a nearby hospital, and a child who was aboard the SUV was also hospitalized. The patrol said the injuries ranged from minor to serious.

The patrol said the accident remains under investigation, and the SUV driver could face charges.
