RENO, Nev. (AP) - Officials say a 72-year-old inmate serving a life sentence for sexual assault has died at a Reno hospital.
The Nevada Department of Corrections say Roger Hee was taken to Renown Medical Center on Friday afternoon and subsequently died.
Authorities did not say why he was transported to the facility.
Hee was sentenced in Washoe County in August 2000.
He was convicted of sexual assault with substantial bodily harm.
An autopsy is being scheduled with the Washoe County Medical Examiner’s Office.
