CAMDEN, N.J. (AP) - Authorities say a 17-year-old girl used the same gun in two shootings, including to allegedly kill a 13-year-old boy in New Jersey.

Prosecutors said Friday that Casche Alford used a .380-caliber semi-automatic handgun to kill Nathaniel Plummer on Jan. 7 in Camden and also in a non-fatal October shooting.

Alford was arraigned in adult court in Camden on Friday. She is being held on $1 million bail.

Her attorney, Jordan Zeitz, says that Alford has strong ties to the Camden community and the chances of her trying to flee if she made bail were remote.

She surrendered Jan. 9 to face attempted-murder and other charges stemming from an October shooting that left a 19-year-old man wounded. She had been held at a juvenile detention facility since.
