PINE BLUFF, Ark. (AP) - Police in Pine Bluff have identified a suspect in a deadly weekend shooting that took the life of a 26-year-old man.
Detectives say that the suspect, identified as 35-year-old Travis Price, is wanted for questioning in the shooting. They say he is considered armed and dangerous.
Pine Bluff police responded to reports of gunshots fired shortly before 1 a.m. Saturday. Officers found Andre Eason on the floor of the home dead with multiple gunshot wounds. He was later pronounced dead by the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office.
Detectives say their initial investigation indicates robbery as a possible motive. Witnesses told police that multiple suspects entered the home and other people had gathered there demanding money.
Police say they are working to identify other possible suspects in Eason’s death.
