SHELBY, Mont. (AP) - Two motorcycles collided on Interstate 15 near Shelby, causing a crash that killed a 51-year-old Conrad man and injured a 56-year-old man from Brady.
The Montana Highway Patrol says the men were southbound at about 6:45 p.m. Saturday when the rider from Brady failed to negotiate a curve. His motorcycle hit the Conrad man’s motorcycle and both bikes went off the road and rolled over.
Neither man was wearing a helmet.
The victim died at the scene. His name has not been released.
The other rider was taken to the hospital in Shelby.
