LINCOLN PARK, Mich. (AP) - A charity says arson is suspected in a fire that burned three donation bins at a Detroit-area thrift store.

Officials with St Vincent de Paul say the bins at the Thrift Store and Donation Center in Lincoln Park contained about 1,500 pounds of clothing and household goods. The burned bins were noticed by staff when workers arrived to open the store Monday morning.

No one was injured.

The charity says the contents of the bins were valued at several thousand dollars. They’re asking for help from the public to replace the donations.
