FARGO, N.D. (AP) - Police say they have found a man considered to be a person of interest in the death of a woman whose body was discovered in a Fargo town house over the weekend.

A friend found the body of 40-year-old Cory Terlecky about 7:30 p.m. Sunday. Police have classified the death as a homicide, but have not said how Terlecky died. An autopsy is being conducted Monday.

Police say they located the person of interest, 22-year-old Landon Lauwagie (loo-WAG’-ee) in southern Minnesota. Investigators plan to interview Lauwagie to determine whether he is a suspect.

Fargo Police Lt. Joe Anderson says the incident does not appear to be a random act of violence.

Anderson says the original report to police described the incident as a woman who was having a heart attack.
