GREENVILLE, S.C. (AP) - Greenville County sheriff’s deputies are investigating a shooting that injured two people at a Greenville apartment complex.

Master Deputy Drew Pinciaro tells local media that deputies responded Saturday afternoon after gunshots were heard at Boulder Creek Apartments in North Greenville.

The suspects fled the scene in different vehicles before deputies could arrive.

Pinciaro says that after getting the initial 911 call, dispatch received another call about a gunshot victim who had been dropped off at Greenville Fire Department Station 7.

Shortly thereafter, dispatch received a 911 call about a vehicle collision at a South Greenville intersection. Deputies who arrived on scene saw that one of the passengers had a gunshot wound.

Both victims were taken to Greenville Memorial Hospital.

Deputies continue to investigate the shooting.
