CLINTON, N.J. (AP) - Fire officials say two firefighters were hurt after a historic music hall in New Jersey caught fire.

The blaze broke out Sunday morning at the Music Hall in Clinton. The building currently known as the Clinton Center had been standing since the 1800s. Traveling theater companies performed there into the early 1900s.

Emergency crews say part of the building collapsed and firefighters were evacuated. Two firefighters were taken to an area hospital with minor injuries.

Fire officials say the building housed several businesses.

The cause of the blaze is not yet known.
